"In the category of Educational Toy That Could Pass for a Real Toy, the high scorer was Tetraxis, a magnetic geometry puzzle, in which you try to assemble colorful geometric pieces into a whole. It's challenging but not throw-it-across-the-room challenging. Bonus points for knowing that the structure is arranged along directions common in nature, similar to carbon and silicon atoms. This factoid also makes for a dandy conversation stopper."

"The Tetraxis puzzle is absolutely beautiful. In 5 decades of being involved with toys and toy design I have not seen any better. It is at the top in quality, concept, design, function, safety and play value. It is truly a timeless toy that is a perfect gift for all ages. I am so impressed."

“Our three kids love these toys – they are challenging for the adults but our 9-year-old puts it together blindfolded and beats everyone!”

Magnets safely encased in each stick help guide the pieces together.
A note about safety:
The pieces of the Tetraxis puzzle have been engineered and manufactured with the utmost concern for safety. The materials contain no lead or phthalates. The neodymium magnets in each stick are quite strong, and in toys where such magnets can come loose and potentially be swallowed, they pose a serious health hazard. In the Tetraxis puzzle, the magnets are safely internally contained within a stick, made of two parts that are ultrasonically welded together. The sticks should be kept away from pacemakers and other devices sensitive to magnetism. If the sticks are ever abused or damaged thereby exposing the magnets, discontinue use and dispose of properly.
The product meets or exceeds toy safety standards: ASTM F963-08, CPSIA, EN71. Certificate of Compliance and testing reports by a CPSC accredited 3rd party laboratory can be viewed upon request. Contact testing@kosticks.com
